Over 85% of our team are NZ ECE-qualified early learning educators, which is well above the current NZ requirement of 50%.
All of our teachers have First aid Certificates.
Upskilling OUR EDUCATORS
We place a strong emphasis on the value of ongoing education. Upskilling our team improves the outcomes for our tamariki, and supports on-going growth as teachers while also supporting individual interests.
Diversity in culture and language
Multilingual teachers keep our children’s first languages ‘alive’ and role-model the use of their languages in daily conversations. Our Kaiako are genuinely interested in learning more about different cultural backgrounds, researching and displaying resources in their rooms to provide a valuable link between us and our children’s homes. In fact we do this so well that the Ministry of Education wrote a case study about how we celebrate cultural diversity in 2016.
